Fabulous deals on Stampin’ Up stamp sets, tools and embellishments from November 20-November 26
Today's card was inspired by a sketch challenge from Case This Sketch. The bird image from the Best Birds stamp set is set upon the Burlap background stamp. The simple color palette sets off the image nicely. I flipped the sketch to a horizontal format to accommodate the larger sentiment from the Floral Phrases stamp set.
Emboss Resist is a technique that creates a lot of impact for very little effort. On a small piece of whisper white card stock, you simply stamp the Brushstrokes image in Versamark ink, sprinkle with clear or white embossing powder, and then melt it with a heat gun.
Using sponge wedges, sponge each of the five colors right over the top of the embossing. Wipe the remaining ink off the embossed stripes with a paper towel. So much fun while being a quick technique. Try it out!
This cute little bike features the Bike Ride Stamp Set and combines the Global Design Project Challenge and the Fusion Tulips on a Bike Challenge. It is always a fun time of year when Stampin' UP releases the new in color palette that is good for the next two years. I was ecstatic when I saw the new Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. It reminds me so much of those neon colors that I grew up with as a teenager in the '80s. Simply fun and beautiful!
