I knew that I wanted to color the beautiful cabbage roses from the Petal Palette stamp set in Cherry Cobbler so I colored the leaves with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends. The roses were cut out on the Big Shot using the matching framelits. I really loved how they looked. I added the textured behind them using the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder on a piece of Old Olive card stock and then cut it out on the Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The sentiment comes from this stamp set as well.

When Life Gives You Lemons…
When life gives you lemons, you should live it with zest. Also, bundle these great products and save 10%. The Lemon Zest Bundle from Stampin' UP has found a perfect mate with the Sale-a-bration Tutti-Fruitti note cards (FREE item during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying order) and the Tutti-Fruitti DSP paper stack. Don't they all coordinate beautifully?
Colorful Seasons Summer Card
I used two on the above card for the banners behind the sentiment. I also added a touch of the gold foil outlined with the stitched framelits. This card was CASEd from the annual catalog's sample. I love the mini chevron ribbon in this suite. It is so soft and easy to work with. I added a touch of it tied off with white twine. The Glitter Enamel dots add a touch of sparkle.
Berry Burst Baby Bear
One of the biggest trends in paper crafting is foil. Stampin' UP has made it easy with the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper. There are no machines or glue involved here. This paper pack has three foil patterns printed on heavyweight Kraft paper and includes 1 of each 3 single sided designs in 4 colors. The colors included are Berry Burst (used on this card), Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Sky and Tangerine Tango.
Christmas Card Throwdown
The background of this card uses the emboss resist technique with the Sheet Music background stamp. The image is stamped using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder. Using sponges, various ink colors were daubed in a diagonal pattern across the cardstock.
Party Time Card
Washi Tape is often overlooked in the catalog. It is actually a versatile element in the crafting arsenal. I used the Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape to create the whimsical banner behind the "50" element. I lined up the washi tape on a scrap of paper, trimmed it down and punched the ends in a banner with the Banner Triple punch. I also used it inside the card to add a punch of color. So simple!
Life Looks Beautiful On You
Today's technique is simply to stamp the dancing girl image from the Beautiful You stamp set on very vanilla cardstock and the DSP. I used early espresso ink for this. I cut around the dress and hat with my paper snips on the DSP piece. Then you simply glue that piece on to the very vanilla piece to get the colorful dress image.
Blessed Thank You
The Cupcakes and Carousels paper stack is packed with beautiful shabby chic papers in a 6x6 inch format. It is perfect for making quick beautiful card like the thank you card pictured above. The soft palette is soothing to look at and admire. I paired it with the Sale-A-Bration gold metallic ribbon for the right amount of bling.
A Cute Cupcake
Today's project owes it's life to MOJO Monday Challenge 479 and Color Throwdown's Swatch 425. Check out these great sources of inspiration. I had fun with the color palette: Basic Black, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, and Crushed Curry.
