On Stage 2017 Swag
It is an awesome perk as a demonstrator for Stampin' UP to be able to attend their live On Stage events. I always come back excited and inspired to try a lot of new techniques and ideas. Demonstrators come back with a lot of fun swag as well. I also won a stamp set in the prize patrol and they gave all attendees an additional stamp set as well.
On Stage Make n’ Takes
It is always so much fun to play with some of the new upcoming products from the Stampin' UP Occasions catalog. This time we got to try out four of the new product bundles during OnStage 2017.
On Stage Swaps 2017
One of the best things about being a demonstrator is the privilege of attending various Stampin' Up events. My friend, Shannon and I attended On Stage in Utah last weekend. We had a blast meeting demonstrators from all over the country and the world. Be sure to check out Shannon's blog at: Stampin' Frenzy She made a cute little treat swap!
Washi Winter Wonderland
The Colorful Seasons Bundle is definitely one of my favorite things from the Annual Catalog. I decided to use the winter themed die to create an unusual combination of snowflakes using Washi tape. Most people really don't know what to do with Washi tape other than to hold dies in place on your big shot. It really can be a versatile element in scrapbooking and card making. It is a simple way to add pattern and color. But did you know that you can stick it down to a piece of whisper white card stock in any pattern you like, and then place your die over it and cut it on the big shot?
Father Christmas Tag
The traditional colors of the Be Merry DSP by Stampin' UP add to the Christmas cheer of the tag. To get the layered look of the tag, I used the Lots of Labels framelits. Santa was cut out with the smaller size one, the DSP was the next largest and finally, the largest was cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink and cut it out with the smallest of the framelits and then sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink.
