St. Paddy’s Day Card Challenges

Every once in a while, I like to play and combine a lot of card challenges.  Today's card combines three different ideas: card design, card layout and color.  Make sure to check out these fabulous blog sites.  They are a terrific source of inspiration on those days when you are having creative block and can't seem to come up with an idea.

Petal Palette Stamp Set by Stampin' UP!

Petal Palette Thank You Card

I knew that I wanted to color the beautiful cabbage roses from the Petal Palette stamp set in Cherry Cobbler so I colored the leaves with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  The roses were cut out on the Big Shot using the matching framelits. I really loved how they looked. I added the textured  behind them using the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder on a piece of Old Olive card stock and then cut it out on the Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The sentiment comes from this stamp set as well.
