Make Your Own Stamp Pad

Happy Wishes Stamp Set Card

Make Your Own Stamp Pad With A Baby Wipe For this technique, you need a pack of baby wipes and reinkers in Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Rich Razzleberry.  Simply fold one baby wipe over so there are several layers.  Make stripes of the three colors with the reinkers right next to each other on the wipe.  You are going to use this as your stamp pad.  Ink up the large "Happy" sentiment and stamp on whisper white card stock.  Cut it out with the Lots of Labels Framelit. Simply mount the layers on the card as shown in the picture with Stampin' dimensionals. Very little work but a lot of impact!

Painted With Love Narrow Note Cards

Painted With Love Narrow Note Cards tied with bow

This little notes are so easy to put together. Simply cut the DSP to size and glue to the front of the card.  I used several of the heart stamp images in various colors in the palette and embossed 2 cards with gold embossing powder.   The images are cut out from the coordinating framelits in the bundle.  They are attached to the card fronts with dimensionals.  To finish the gift off,  I stacked the card with 4 envelopes and tied a matching piece of Sale-a-bration ribbon around the stack while looping a tassle in the bow.  These would be a nice hostess gift or teacher gift.  They are great for kids to exchange for Valentine's Day as well.

Year of Cheer Christmas Gift Tag

Wrapped In the Warmth of Christmas Sentiment

Stampin' Up does a fantastic job with coordination of products in the company's catalogs.  The holiday occasions catalog features the awesome Year of Cheer Suite.  These products work great for Christmas projects as well as wedding projects.  The coordinating stamp set includes sentiments for Christmas, New Years, and wedding cards and tags.

Paper Gift Bags for the Holidays

Carols of Christmas Sentiment Closeup

To make the bags, I stamped all the sentiments and small tag in Garden Green Ink.  The "Deck the Halls" sentiment came from the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set.  The "Seasons Greetings" sentiment came from the Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set.  The sentiments were cut out on the big shot with the Layering Ovals Framelit Dies. The little To and From tag came from the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set. Once you stamp it on Whisper White cardstock, punch it out with the Everyday Label Punch.

Washi Winter Wonderland

The Colorful Seasons Bundle is definitely one of my favorite things from the Annual Catalog.  I decided to use the winter themed die to create an unusual combination of snowflakes using Washi tape.   Most people really don't know what to do with Washi tape other than to hold dies in place on your big shot. It really can be a versatile element in scrapbooking and card making.  It is a simple way to add pattern and color.  But did you know that you can stick it down to a piece of whisper white card stock in any pattern you like, and then place your die over it and cut it on the big shot?
