Emboss Resist Technique

Emboss Resist is a technique that creates a lot of impact for very little effort.   On a small piece of whisper white card stock, you simply stamp the Brushstrokes image in Versamark ink, sprinkle with clear or white embossing powder, and then melt it with a heat gun.

Using sponge wedges, sponge each of the five colors right over the top of the embossing.  Wipe the remaining ink off the embossed stripes with a paper towel.  So much fun while being a quick technique. Try it out!

Nailed It Bundle

At times, it can seem like there are really limited options out there for making a masculine looking card. Stampin' UP has done a great job by creating this bundle of products to do just that. Appropriately named the Nailed It Bundle, this stamp set and coordinating framelits make this task simple.

Pair it with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder and you have a great looking card with minimal effort. But no one else will guess that!

Life Looks Beautiful On You

Today's technique is simply to stamp the dancing girl image from the Beautiful You stamp set on very vanilla cardstock and the DSP. I used early espresso ink for this. I cut around the dress and hat with my paper snips on the DSP piece. Then you simply glue that piece on to the very vanilla piece to get the colorful dress image.
