What is not to love about the cute bunny image from the Sweet Little Something stamp set by Stampin' UP? I decided to show it off by creating a Sepia look tonal image using the 3 step stamp. It has that classic 1800's old photo look. Just stamp the image in the lightest shade of Sahara Sand, then Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip. The sweet little bunny looks classic with her wood flower as an accent.
Make Your Own Stamp Pad With A Baby Wipe For this technique, you need a pack of baby wipes and reinkers in Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Rich Razzleberry. Simply fold one baby wipe over so there are several layers. Make stripes of the three colors with the reinkers right next to each other on the wipe. You are going to use this as your stamp pad. Ink up the large "Happy" sentiment and stamp on whisper white card stock. Cut it out with the Lots of Labels Framelit. Simply mount the layers on the card as shown in the picture with Stampin' dimensionals. Very little work but a lot of impact!
This little notes are so easy to put together. Simply cut the DSP to size and glue to the front of the card. I used several of the heart stamp images in various colors in the palette and embossed 2 cards with gold embossing powder. The images are cut out from the coordinating framelits in the bundle. They are attached to the card fronts with dimensionals. To finish the gift off, I stacked the card with 4 envelopes and tied a matching piece of Sale-a-bration ribbon around the stack while looping a tassle in the bow. These would be a nice hostess gift or teacher gift. They are great for kids to exchange for Valentine's Day as well.

Beautiful Bouquet Bundle I designed this card for my friend's birthday and had a lot of fun combining the In Color's from the annual catalog and the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle elements. I used a Basic Black card base and framed the bouquet with Berry Burst card stock. It was then set on a Whisper White ruffled background.
Washi Tape is often overlooked in the catalog. It is actually a versatile element in the crafting arsenal. I used the Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape to create the whimsical banner behind the "50" element. I lined up the washi tape on a scrap of paper, trimmed it down and punched the ends in a banner with the Banner Triple punch. I also used it inside the card to add a punch of color. So simple!

It is always a fun time of year when Stampin' UP releases the new in color palette that is good for the next two years. I was ecstatic when I saw the new Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst. It reminds me so much of those neon colors that I grew up with as a teenager in the '80s. Simply fun and beautiful!
This seaside themed birthday card features two of the new in colors: Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. The Happy Birthday thinlet is cut from the Serene Scenery DSP and it gives an ombre effect to the sentiment.
