Ombre Valentine

Freshly Made Sketches #270 and Less is More #310 inspired this Ombre Valentine. Here is the sketch that I used for the card. I also used the "Less is More" Colour Challenge of using Ombre shading in the color of your choice. Please visit their blogs to see all the entries for these challenges. Everyone is so creative.

Swirly Snowman CASE

Swirly snowman image Close up

"CASE"ing, is taking an idea and adding your own flair to it. The snowman body is cut out on the Big Shot using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and the precision base plate. His carrot nose is created with a scrap of Pumpkin Pie paper and the larger wing shape from the same thinlit set. So many of the versions that I saw on Pinterest had no arms or face. I couldn't help but put the Santa hat on his head with the Jolly Hat punch!

Fab Friday 97

Close Up of Holly Berry Image

These happy Holly Berries have a vintage feel to them. A color palette with a vintage feel seemed appropriate. They are featured in Fab Friday's blog challenge for this week. A few of the new products in the Holiday Catalog from Stampin' UP are also featured on this card. The background paper is from the Candy Cane Lane DSP pack. It also has an embossed background done in Real Red using the Holly Textured Impressions Embossing folder.
