This card demonstrates that paper piecing can definitely have the feel of stained glass. For this card, I cut the flower tag from the Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies three times. One using basic black cardstock, and one each of the sugarplum glimmer paper and the mint macaron glimmer paper
At times, it can seem like there are really limited options out there for making a masculine looking card. Stampin' UP has done a great job by creating this bundle of products to do just that. Appropriately named the Nailed It Bundle, this stamp set and coordinating framelits make this task simple. Pair it with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder and you have a great looking card with minimal effort. But no one else will guess that!
Today's technique is simply to stamp the dancing girl image from the Beautiful You stamp set on very vanilla cardstock and the DSP. I used early espresso ink for this. I cut around the dress and hat with my paper snips on the DSP piece. Then you simply glue that piece on to the very vanilla piece to get the colorful dress image.

This bright color palette makes for a cheerful birthday card. The colors play out in the watercoloring on the sentiment as well as the watercoloring done on the embossed image at the bottom of the card. It is really simple to color the embossing with the matching pencil and use a blender pen to smudge it. The sentiment "Enjoy" was stamped in Stazon and watercolored with the pencils and blended with a blender pen. The sentiment comes from the Everyday Tags stamp set.
