SUO Challenge #282
Today’s project features the Delicate Dahlias stamp set and is a sympathy card. This card was designed for the SUO Challenge theme: Plant Life. You can earn this stamp set for FREE during our second sale-a-bration of the year with a $100 order in my online store.

I love the gradation of colors that Stampin’ Up two-step stamps give you. You end of with several colors of pink and you only stamp once!
The Delicate Dahlias stamp set is a two-step photopolymer set and is so easy to line up. Look for the one large petal on both the line image and the detail stamp. Stamp the line art in memento black ink. Ink up the detail stamp in polished pink and line up the single petal by turning the stamp until it matches up. Then press down. You can refer to my stamp set image below to see what I am talking about. I circled it in yellow.
The flower and leaves are fussy cut with paper snips. The flowers and leaves are popped up with dimensionals. Wink of Stella was added to the leaves and flowers for added shine.
I kept the inside of the card simple with just stamped a sentiment in the polished pink ink. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set by Stampin’ Up.
