“How does the Meadow flower its bloom unfold? Because the lovely little flower is free down to its root, and in that freedom bold.”
-William Wordsworth
Staying at Home
With the “Stay at Home” order still in place for COVID-19 here in Virginia, I am making a lot of cards to say the least. Some are just to stay in touch with family. It seems like ages since we have seen each other face to face other than on video chats. All this crafting is helping me keep busy. How about you? Are you crafting a lot too?
I am sure that you will enjoy this stamp set as much as I have. It is fun to feel like an artist when you create with this one.
Make It
I made a blended background first leaving room in the middle to stamp the stream. Starting at the top of the card and working my way down, I used the following colors with a blending brush: Balmy blue, Rococo Rose, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green.
Once the background was done, I put the stream in first with the stamps.
The gazebo, trees and bridge are all stamped in Gray Granite. The sentiments were from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set. The leaves were all stamped last with the Rococo Rose and Granny Apple Green.

This is a really pretty scene and yes, definitely floral! I like the way you’ve used such soft and pretty colours for it – it make it seem very spring-like. Thank you for joining our floral speed challenge at As You See It. How long did your creation take to make?
As it was all blending and stamping, it was around ten minutes. Glad you liked the card.
Pretty!
Thanks Angie!
So pretty Renee – I love your little scene with the softly sponged background and all those flowers and little details. A triumph if you managed to achieve this in under 10 minutes! Thanks for sharing with us for our speed challenge over at As You See It this week!
Very pretty; I have trouble with scenes, so I am doubly impressed! Thanks for sharing it with us at our Speed Stamping challenge this week!
