Card Challenges

The inspiration for this encouragement card comes from three different card challenge blogs. I loved the color combination for this one. It’s so bright and cheerful!

I decided to make some encouragement cards to send off during this whole COVID-19 quarantine isolation thing. We all can use some happy mail right about now! How are you coping with the quarantine?

Stitched Nested Labels Dies

Creating your masking stencil

I used the largest die in this set to create my mask stencil for the ink blending on my card. Simply center the die on a 6″x6″ piece of window sheet and run it through your die cut machine to make your mask stencil.

You can make these with any general shaped dies you may have in your stash. Imagine all the endless possibilities for backgrounds. Plus, they are really fun to make!

Cleaning Your masking stencil

Once you are done using the masking stencil, you can wash it off with soap and water in the sink and dry it off. This only works with water based inks like Stampin’ Ups.

You can store the stencil with your dies so it is ready to be used again and again on other projects.
