Card Challenge Inspiration
Today I needed to make two baby cards for family friends and yes, one family just welcomed twin boys! So not knowing where to begin, I decided to use two recent challenge blogs for inspiration and a new stamp set that I just got a little too late for Easter called Welcome Easter.
The adorable little animals were stamped with memento ink and colored with the coordinating Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The sentiment “Congratulations” that I used was from the Flourishing Phrases Cling-Mount Stamp Set.

This was the color palette that I used for my baby boy congratulations cards. I loved all the soft colors and they were perfect for this project.

Welcome Easter Stamp Set

Welcome Easter as well as new little ones with the Welcome Easter Cling Stamp Set. A baby chick, a bunny, and a lamb would look sweet on any spring-themed project.
Greetings include sentiments for Easter projects and cards for new babies. Line art images are great for basic stamping techniques; color and customize them using any of our coloring tools. This stamp set is also available in French.
* 11 cling stamps
* Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): a, b, c, d, h
Buffalo Check Stamp Set

According to old tale, the Rob Roy Tartan was rebranded as Buffalo Check by a designer in Pennsylvania. We don’t know if this is true, but either way, this background stamp will give your projects a rustic, homey feel.
I chose to use it as the background for my card in the soft seaside spray in-color. Remember to use your Stamparatus tool to get a good ink impression. If it doesn’t work perfectly the first time, you can stamp it in the same spot again easily. You can also use our specially sized grid paper for your Stamparatus for easy cleanup when using large background stamps. I will include it in the supply list.
Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit

The Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit includes tons of fun embellishments for your handcrafted projects. These little kits are a great value and are often overlooked in the catalog. It is only $11!
The cute felt flowers were perfect for this cute baby chick card. I used the hearts and banner for the twin lambs card.
Plus, you can store all the goodies in the included designer box or reuse for gifts.
Kit includes:
* 4 sheets of stitched, die-cut felt accents (1 sheet each of 4 colors: Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry)
* 12 paper clips (6 Blushing Bride, 6 Coastal Cabana)

* 3 yards (2.7 m) Calypso Coral Linen Thread

What sweet cards! Loving that color combo. Twins. They seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately! I have had to make two twin cards in the last few months. And gingham- so perfect for baby cards. Thanks so much for joining us this week!
I have a set of twins myself. They are 28 years old now. Seems like everyone that works with my husband ends up having a set of twins. Weird coincidence? Who knows!
