Floral Essence Wedding Day Card

SUO Challenge #222

Make sure to visit the SUO challenge blog to see all of the card ideas for our celebration theme. I made this wedding day card with the Floral Essences Stamp Set for our challenge.

Floral Essences Stamp Set

The Floral Essences Stamp Set will be available for all customers on June 4th. The base of this card was created with Purple Posy Card stock which is one of the new coming In-Colors for 2019-2021.

There will also be a coordinating punch for this stamp set called the Perennial Flower Punch.

Making the Card

Stamp the large and small flower images in purple posy ink on purple posy cardstock. Stamp the flower centers and then the leaves in soft seafoam ink. Run the cardstock through your die cut machine with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing folder. Then run it through the die cut machine again with the Tufted Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.

Glue the homemade DSP piece to a piece of Soft seafoam cardstock to create a frame. Stamp your sentiment in the soft seafoam ink on the same color cardstock. Stamp another small flower on the purple posy cardstock and cut it out with snips.

Stamp three leaf images on Soft seafoam card stock with the same color ink and punch them out with the Leaf Punch. Cut a pearlized doily in half and attach to sentiment piece. Add the leaves and flower popping them up with dimensionals. Attach to front of card.

Embellish the card front with small pearls. There you have it! A beautiful and subtle wedding card made for that special couple.

A Catalog Sneak Peek… Courtesy of OnStage Atlantic City

One of the best perks of being a demonstrator is getting to go to OnStage! It is an event where demonstrators get to see all the new product lines coming out in the latest catalog.

We get to meet with other demos, exchange swaps, watch fabulous demonstrations of new techniques, get ideas for our business and receive recognition from the company for achievements. Want to get in on all the fun? Find out more here!

Here is a picture of the new annual catalog coming to you in June. Sign up as a demo to get yours today if you can’t wait.

Stampin' Up Annual Catalog 2020

Swaps

Swaps are little projects that we make to share at Stampin’ Up events. They are a great way to get new ideas and introduce yourself too.

I made about 50 swaps to hand out to other demonstrators. One was a 3D matchbook Ghiradelli holder made with the Pretty Kitty Stamp Set (the original design was by Dawn Griffith) and the other was a card front using the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.

The Dandelion Wishes card front was easy to make multiples of using the Stamparatus. I added some rhinestones and ribbon to bling it out.

Thanks to all the demonstrators that traded card fronts and 3D swaps with me. They were beautiful ideas! Leave me a comment if you were one of the wonderful demos that traded with me there.

Vienna Stampers

I had a blast hanging out with my buddies from the Vienna Stampers Club at On Stage Atlantic City. A big shout out to Heather, our upline, and Shannon, Cathi and Fee! We also hung out with a couple of demonstrators from New Jersey that we met a few years ago in Utah. Hi Helen and Jessica!

Make n’ Takes

We got to make four projects with the products from the new catalog. Let me know what you think. Are you excited to get your copy of the catalog in the mail?
