Sources of Inspiration

Stampin’ Up demonstrators have a unique perspective when it comes to sharing our projects. The company uses a term called “CASE” which means copy and share everything. We love to look to each other as a source of inspiration for our card making and paper crafting projects.

I follow quite a few blogs on WordPress. One of my favorites is by Buffy Cooper. With her permission, I have “cased” one of her cards that she recently put up on her blog. I have had this stamp set for about six months sitting on my shelf. She inspired me to pull it out and give it a trial run. If you want to see the original card, check out her blog link here:

One of the best thing about being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is making connections and friendships with other like-minded crafty people. That has been the best part of being a blogger!

Postcard Pals Stamp Set

Coloring is one of my favorite card making techniques. It is so relaxing and fun. These little critters make it cute as well. The small sentiments fit into a lot of our punches really well.

More Card Views

For my card, I changed up the color scheme a bit with the Blueberry Bushel card stock and matching DSP. For a pop of color, I added a bit of Poppy Parade ribbon. All the coloring is done with Stampin’ Blends.

Gosh, the colors in this paper stack are fantastic and bold. I didn’t have the same stack of colors as Buffy but these are really fun. I settled on the Blueberry Bushel color for my card.

Now the Challenge

Anyone want to give it a go and “CASE” my version of Buffy’s card? I would love to see what you come up with so please share!

  1. Super cute, Renee, and great job coloring. I don’t have that stamp set but with my love of coloring, you’ve inspired me to pull out a stamp set that I’ve been neglecting and do some coloring myself!
