Flourish Filigree for All Occasions
Do you ever buy a stamp set for just one stamp? When I saw this set in the holiday catalog, my eye was drawn to the flourish stamp. What a beautiful way to embellish any card for any occasion. This stamp would be wonderful as a background stamp as well as the focal point on a card. The set also includes four sentiments for all occasions.
I used the sentiments from the Special Celebrations stamp set because they were more suited to a wedding.
I went for a more classic look to this card by keeping with a black, white and silver color palette. The flourish is embossed with silver embossing powder and cut out with good old paper snips and popped up with dimensionals.
The background is a simple. Just run a piece of whisper white card stock through the big shot with the Swirls and Curls Textured Embossing folder. The inside flourish is stamped in smoky slate ink and the sentiment is stamped over it in memento ink.
