Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set

There are so many reasons to love this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This set is photopolymer.  It makes two step stamping so easy, especially if you own the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool.  It includes four sweet sentiments in a lovely script style font as well as a background stamp and the dragonfly and bee images.

For this set of cards, I chose the “Enjoy your special day!” sentiment for a birthday card.  The sentiment is heat embossing using black embossing powder.  The matching Thinlits were used to make the dragonflies.  The dragonflies are cut on the big shot using the black foil paper from the SU Holiday Catalog.

Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper

The Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper definitely has an impressionistic feel to it.  It reminds me of a Monet painting with the loose brushstrokes.  It is an amazingly artistic paper pack that is a must for any cardmaker or scrapbooker.

The paper comes in a 6″x6″ format and contains 48 sheets.  The colors are amazing! The Dragonfly Dreams card uses the Mango Melody and the Soft Sea Foam colors from the DSP.
