Stepping It Up

When designing this card, I created two different versions of this Snowy embossed card.  One is more simple and reflects a back to nature feel.  The other is jazzed up with tinsel, metallic pearls and a gold punched star.

The background trees were creating using white embossing powder.  The Christmas tree in the foreground is decorated with shimmery white embossing paste.  It makes beautiful shiny snow!

Hopefully, you got your hands on the Stitched Seasons framelits.  They were a limited time offer from Stampin’ Up! Unfortunately, they are no longer available.  Hopefully, Stampin’ Up will bring them back on the Clearance Rack soon.  They are simply wonderful.  I used them to create the large window on the card.  If you don’t have them, you may be able to use a large oval frame lit to create a similar effect.
