A Bit of the Irish for Today’s Project
Every once in a while, I like to play and combine a lot of card challenges. Today’s card combines three different ideas: card design, card layout and color. Make sure to check out these fabulous blog sites. They are a terrific source of inspiration on those days when you are having creative block and can’t seem to come up with an idea.
This monochromatic card is set on an Emerald Envy background created with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. Seems like it is a bit Irish with all the squiggly designs, huh? The pops of gold with the Glimmer paper and the Gold Glitter flakes would make any recipient feel lucky. I had to add a four leaf clover made with the 2016-2018 In Color enamel shapes. I am really sad that we are going to say goodbye to this group of In Colors when the new annual catalog comes out. I really love Emerald Envy. There is still time for you to get them in your collection. They haven’t been discontinued yet.
Have a look at the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. It has a multitude of fabulous sentiments that can be used all year long through every season and occasion.

I missed the linkup date somehow for this one but you can still check out what everyone else submitted for their challenge.
An Old Irish Blessing
“May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
May God be with you and bless you;
May you see your children’s children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings,
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.”
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
