Fun with Brusho
This cute belated birthday card features the adorable sloth from the Quirky Critters Stamp Set in the annual catalog. The image was stamped with memento ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends. Using the Layering Circle framelits also from the annual catalog, the image is cut out on the big shot along with a scalloped frame cut from garden green card stock. The framelits come with 16 dies in a variety of different sizes that will be a go to for all your card making needs.
The Brusho background was made on wetted (using an aqua painter) watercolor paper and simply sprinkled with the green color. The green moss color also has these pretty purple flecks that go well with the Elegant Eggplant card base. It is accented by a gold bow made from the Love Mini Tinsel Trim.

Inside the Card
To finish off the inside of the card, “Celebrate” from the Amazing You Stamp Set was stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink along with the sunshine image stamped in Crushed Curry ink. You can get the Amazing You stamp set for FREE with a $50 order in my online store during Sale-a-bration.
Stampin’ Blends
If you haven’t already started to collect these markers, you should definitely add them to your wishlist. These high quality dual tipped markers are alcohol based and really add to the versatility of your backgrounds and depth to your colored images that you cannot get with a water based marker. The following video from Stampin’ UP demonstrates some of techniques that you can use for these markers. Awesome!
