Inspiration for cards can come from many places. This card was inspired by one of my favorite places to visit: Clearwater, Florida. You can’t go wrong visiting here if you love the beach like I do. White sand beaches, beautiful water birds, shells and fabulous sunsets.
The palm trees from the Waterfront stamp set are paired with the Brusho crystal colors to add bursts of yellow, orange and red in my card’s sky.
Try out the Brusho crystals by sprinkling them on wet watercolor paper. Let the background dry and then add the palm trees in night of navy and the sun in Tangerine Tango. You can blend as much as you like with an aqua painter.
To finish the card, emboss the “Celebrate the Good Stuff” sentiment from the Picture Perfect stamp set in white embossing powder and attach to a Night of Navy card base.
