Sweet Little Lion
Since I love to color, I chose the little lion image to adorn the front of this baby shower invitation. This card would also make a cute addition to a baby shower gift. The card is made with a base of Daffodil Delight topped with a Peekaboo Peach layer that was embossed with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Wood Textures DSP Stack
After stamping the lion image with Memento Ink, he is colored with Daffodil Delight Blends and the Bronze Blend for his mane. I punched a circle of the Wood Textures DSP Stack and added leaves from an older set of framelits that I had on hand.
Finishing the Card
I added the “hello baby” sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I also added a knotted bow using the Peekaboo Peach 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding with a glue dot. Then I tucked a leaf from the Touches of Nature Elements under the circle.
