Picture Perfect Paper Stack

The Picture Perfect 6×6 Paper Stack just happens to have the some of the same colors as the Tutti Fruitti envelopes and cards so I used it as the polka dot layer behind the peacock. It adds a nice contrasting layer to the card. I really love the pop of color in this paper stack. In fact, it made my Top Ten Favorites from the Occasions catalog. You will be seeing more of this paper stack on my blog soon!

Card Colors

To stamp the Peacock, I started with the body in Bermuda Bay ink. Then I stamped the Emerald Envy fan feather. I colored the breast of the bird with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write marker and then stamped the long tail feathers in Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.

To finish the front of the card, sponge the edge of the Whisper White card with the peacock image in Bermuda Bay ink and then stamp the “Beautiful Friend” sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. Add the round Glitter & Epoxy Shapes to the fan of feathers to add more dimension.

Just assemble all the layers with multipurpose liquid glue and finish by tying a shimmery ribbon bow around the entire card. After tying the bow, secure it with a glue dot.
