Stampin’ UP makes coordination for card making and scrapbooking so easy. Check out the video below to see all the wonderful paint chip, crackled and watercolor ombre effects in the Color Theory Stack. So many fun combinations.
I used two on the above card for the banners behind the sentiment. I also added a touch of the gold foil outlined with the stitched framelits. This card was CASEd from the annual catalog’s sample. I love the mini chevron ribbon in this suite. It is so soft and easy to work with. I added a touch of it tied off with white twine. The Glitter Enamel dots add a touch of sparkle.
This video that shows additional samples that can be made with this suite of products.

The Color Theory Suite in the Stampin’ UP Annual Catalog is one of the most versatile sets in the catalog. It works for all the seasons and has coordinating products for memory keeping as well. I included the Memories and More Cards in the supply list. The DSP 6×6 stack has lovely tonal papers that have an ombre effect like in the card pictured above.
The card above also uses the Glitter enamel dots. You can enter to win a package of them.
Stampin’ UP has made it so easy to find matching paper and embellishments.

How many times in our own heads have we sabotaged ourselves by saying, “It’s too hard, I can’t do it?”. All too often, we judge and criticize ourselves so much that it brings us to a halt. So just for today, let’s stop being so critical of ourselves. Just let the creative juices flow and see what happens.

The Cat’s Meow card is a simple design using the new cat punch from Stampin’ UP! The kitty sits on the sentiment with a Champagne foil paper moon. I used the Labels To Love Halloween sentiment and the coordinatingh Everyday Label Punch to punch it out.

“Animals are such agreeable friends ― they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.” ― George Eliot
Animals hold a special place in our hearts. When I lost my family dog, Lucky, in 2014, I wasn’t sure that I would ever get another one. It was so difficult watching him get old. The last two years of his life were spent sleeping and turning his nose up at the special diet that he had to eat for his bad kidneys. I don’t blame him. That food smelled awful.
My children had grown up with him. We got him when my youngest son was just three. He was a curious and very hard to train puppy. At one point, he ate a hole in the drywall! Westhighland terriors are stubborn. But gosh, how we loved that dog. Lucky lived to be fifteen. Saying goodbye was really difficult.
Flash forward to January 2017. My husband and I decided to take the plunge and get a new puppy. We named him Buddy. He is the cutest ball of energy! There is nothing better than this little ball of fur snuggling on your lap or chasing one of his toys.
Do you have a special animal in your life?
This towering tree of pets in the holiday catalog really caught my eye. It just reminds me of all the joy our furry friends give us.
For this card, I chose a base of Tranquil Tide highlighted by the panel of Lemon Lime Twist embossed with the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The tree image was stamped using Stazon ink and colored with the Many Marvelous Markers. The sentiment was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink and fussy cut with paper snips. To top off the towering tree of pets, I chose a felt bow in the Tranquil Tide color from the 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bows.
Let me know what you think of my card in the comments section. Cheers to our pets!
