Emboss Resist Technique
The background of this card uses the emboss resist technique with the Sheet Music background stamp. The image is stamped using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder. Using sponges, various ink colors were daubed in a diagonal pattern across the cardstock.
The sentiments were also stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
Beautiful card and I’m just loving that embossed background. How much fun are all those colours together and they really do work. I love an nontraditional Christmas card and this is gorgeous!! Thank you for joining us this week at TGIF – Chlo x

Love the use of emboss resist on your card!
You’ve made a very pretty background with all those colours but with the red and gold your card still has a lovely traditional feel.
