Today’s card inspiration comes from Freshly Made Sketch #245 card sketch and TGIF Card Challenge #64’s theme of summertime. The Daffodil Delight card base adds a big of sunshine to the flower background.
To make this card, start with a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock cut at 4 1/2″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. Cut a piece of gold foil to 2 1/4″ x 4″. Run the gold foil through the Big Shot using the Precision base plate and Detailed Floral thinlet die (the smaller one). Trim the piece at the top to make it even, if necessary.
Emboss the birdcage image and the little hello message on Very Vanilla card stock using Versamark ink and gold embossing powder. Punch out with their matching punches. Attach the gold foil flowers to the top of the card with snail. Attach the birdcage and banner with stampin’ dimensionals. Make a bow out of the trim and attach with a glue dot.
