Grateful Bunch of Flowers

Here is a whimsical gated folded card for you to try out.  The palette uses one of my all time favorite colors – Bermuda Bay combined with the more delicate Wisteria Wonder.  The Grateful Bunch stamp set includes the lovely lace image that serves as a backdrop for the flowers popping up on the card front.  The lace was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.  The center of the lace was made of the glitter washi tape from Sale-a-bration, but if you missed your opportunity to get that product, you could substitute a bit of glimmer paper.

Just a note about this stamp set: The triple flower image is perfectly joined together to match the punch exactly.  It saves a lot of time when you are punching a lot of flowers.  So smart!

Grateful Dragonfly

This soft color palette was perfect for this square notecard.  The dimensions are 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.  It was made using the sentiments from the Grateful Bunch stamp set and the images form the Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  The laurel images were stamped off before applying the ink to the card stock.  The card is set on a background of papers from the Birthday Bouquet DSP pack.  The dragonfly was stamped in mossy meadow ink and fussy cut with paper snips.  The dragonfly lights up with a hint of the clear wink of stella on a small medallion made from the Grateful Bunch punch.  Click on any of the images in the supply list to shop in my store for any of these great products.

Forever Friends

The background on this card was made by stamping directly on Stampin’ UP’s Birthday Bouquet DSP using the flourish image from the First Sight Stamp set in mint macaron ink.  It is a great way to add dimension to a card.  The small doily highlights the Forever Friends sentiment that sits on the embossed dots created with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  The flower was fussy cut from a sheet from the same DSP pack and highlighted with a bit of wink of stella.

Striking Washi Design

If you have never worked with washi tape, you should definitely give it a try.  Washi tape is easy to peel and reposition without ruining your card stock.  With this design, that ability makes it easy to get those perfect graphic lines seen on this card.  I used the In Color Washi tape from 2015-2017.  It comes in so many fun designs too! Paired with the Suite Sayings stamp set, it takes on a playful tone.

Butterfly Love

This simple card was made with absolutely no stamping.  The star of the show is the beautiful Butterfly Thinlet die and the Expressions Thinlet die. Both were cut out on the Big Shot using the magnetic plate and precision base plate which makes these decorations effortlessly.   Clean out all the small paper pieces by running the Big Shot die brush over the butterfly.

The card base is Mint Macaron highlighted with a 2 inch piece of Blushing Bride card stock that was run through the Big Shot with the brick embossing folder.  A 1 inch piece of the Birthday Bouquet DSP was applied to the left edge of the card. The butterfly is cut from the same DSP pack of paper. The butterfly is popped up off the card using dimensionals.

Hope you enjoyed my latest project.  Please leave me comments on this project and if you don’t currently have a Stampin’ UP demonstrator, I would love to help you out.  Click on any of the products in my supply list to go to my online store.
