Easter Treat

Easter is just around the corner.  This adorable treat bag would be welcome in any Easter basket or as a gift for a teacher or friend.  The fun Spring colors are pulled from the Sale-a-bration paper called Wildflower Fields.  It is FREE with any $50 purchase in my Stampin’ UP! store.

To start, stamp the bunny face and ears in Stazon black ink on whisper white cardstock.  Press the lid of the blushing bride ink a few times before opening the stamp pad to deposit some ink on the lid of the stamp pad.  Using the aqua painter, pick up some of the blushing bride ink and water color the bunny ears and cheeks.  Stamp the “you’re eggstraordinary” sentiment in black Stazon on the whisper white card stock.

Punch the bunny face and ears out using their respective punches.  Cut the sentiment out using the project life framelit on the big shot.  Pick a background paper for the sentiment.  I used the chevron style from the Wildflower Fields DSP pack.  Cut 2 of the smallest frame from the project life framelits on the big shot.  Using your paper snips, cut a bunch of wildflowers from the same DSP pack.  Cut a circle using the circle framelits from the Old Olive stripe also from the same DSP pack.

Assemble the pieces as shown above using Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the bunny and the sentiment.  Punch a hole in the top of the tag and loop string through the tag.  Tie the tag to the top of the bag.  Decorate with rhinestones and finish with a ribbon tie at the top of the bag.  The ribbon will cover the string tie.  My bag was filled with Springtime peanut M&M’s.  Hope you enjoyed my latest project.
