This card is perfect for a beginning stamper to try and uses one of my favorite little images which is that cute little cupcake. Starting with a base card of Crushed Curry cardstock cut 4 1/4″ by 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. Cut a piece of the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper to the dimensions of 3 3/4″ x 5″. Attach it to the card front using snail adhesive. The photo above show the reverse side of the paper on two different cards.
Stamp three cupcake images on Whisper White cardstock using the three colors: Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron. Punch them out with the cupcake punch. Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in your choice of ink color on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the second framelit from the Deco Labels Collection on the Big Shot.
Cut another Deco Label frame from the It’s My Party paper stack using the third largest framelit. Attach the Happy Birthday layer to the DSP paper with snail. Attach the cupcake images below it using Stampin’ dimensionals. Attach the entire piece to the front of the card with Stampin’ dimensionals. To finish, tie a bow in the color of twine you like, and attach to card with a glue dot.

This little lamb from the Stampin’ Up Occasions catalog is adorable. Heat embossed in white, it really pops against the Soft Sky background that is cut out with the Floral Framelits.
The beautiful floral vellum is available as a free product selection when you spend $50 in my Stampin’ UP store. The Spring Flowers embossing folder is still available while supplies last in the Clearance section of my store. It makes a gorgeous backdrop for the lamb. Check out the supply list below to go right to the products you love.
The Picture Perfect stamp set uses three step stamping to make a gorgeous image of a hummingbird. Pair it with the Apple of My Eye stamp set “Thank You” greeting and you have a really cute card. The hummingbird image is also highlighted with the gold wink of stella glitter pen to make it shimmer. For the greeting portion of the card, stamp the “Thank You” in Old Olive ink and then again in Blackberry Bliss ink. Punch it out with the Scallop punch and sponge the edges in Hello Honey ink. The card palette is quite pretty.
The Wildflower Fields DSP that was used in this card is FREE with any $50 purchase in my online store! Click on a product to heck it out in my store! This is in addition to any Stampin’ Rewards you receive if you spend over $150.
My twins turned 24 this February. While trying to come up with something sassy and fun to celebrate, I turned to the Go Wild DSP stack. It had this sassy cheetah print for my daughter’s card and a more graphic inspired print for my son’s card. The neutral palette of Basic Black, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White is highlighted by Bermuda Bay in the balloons and oval trim piece. Love how they turned out!
This week, I combined two challenges. Global Design Project 23 and Fab Friday 80 provided the inspiration for this fun colorful birthday card. The Confetti Textured impressions embossing folder was inked up with Watermelon Wonder Ink before running it through the big shot. Don’t worry it won’t ruin your embossing folder! You can run the folder under water to clean off the ink.
The Balloon Celebration stamp set coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet punch so beautifully that you won’t be able to stop making them. Jazz them up with a bit of clear Wink of Stella. The Balloons are set in an oval frame of Watermelon Wonder. Finish it off with an silver heat embossed “Happy Birthday” sentiment framed out with the same paper punched out with the Blossom Bunch punch. A little real red bow adds a nice touch too!
