I have saved the best for last! I personally cannot wait to own this beautiful new product suite called Love Blossoms from Stampin’ UP!’s new 2016 Occasions catalog. I have been waiting for more intricate dies from the Stampin’ UP line and this one is absolutely gorgeous. You absolutely have to use this with the precision plate. It is the only way to get the detail required when rolling this through your big shot machine. Make sure you order a precision plate if you get this set.
This product suite has so much to offer beside the new Bloomin’ Hearts thinlit die. There is a new DSP pack, a coordinating cardstock pack that includes 3 matching colors, Blushing Bride glimmer paper, an embellishment kit, and the Blooming’ Love photopolymer stamp set. The stamp set is photopolymer and clear so you can stamp right on your cutout from the die. Amazing!
So what do you think about my sneak peeks from OnStage? Leave me a comment and let me know and remember to check out my online store for great weekly deals and the clearance rack for awesome sets from the current holiday catalog!
The Going Places product suite from Stampin’ UP’s 2016 Occasions catalog will appeal to cardmakers and scrapbookers alike. The coordinating stamp set is called Going Global. The images in the stamp set are perfect for scrapbooks and creating more masculine cards.
Also included in the product suite is a new paper stack, a new embossing folder, and a matching (3 color) card stock pack. You will want to add this to your wishlist. Don’t forget ordering for the new catalog starts January 5, 2016.
The Botanical Gardens Product Suite is going to be a must have for everyone to own. Featuring great new thinlit dies that create 3-d flowers, I am sure these are going to sell fast. I can’t wait to see what wonderful creations everyone will post using these.
The product suite also includes new designer series paper that you can stamp on which means you can pick the color of the center of the flowers and leaves! What a great way to coordinate colors. Also included in the suite are: a coordinating card stock pack , Botanical Garden jewels, and of course the Botanical Blooms photopolymer stamp set.
Add this one to your list and get ready to order on January 5, 2016!
Using the Fab Friday 77 color palette and the Freshly Made Sketch 213, I designed this card using the soon to be released Happy Home Stamp Set. I received this stamp set in the OnStage goodie bag last weekend. It is so adorable! This stamp set will be released to the anxiously awaiting Stampin’ UP customers in the upcoming Occasions catalog. Look for it in your mailbox on January 5, 2016. Drop me an email if you would like to receive one.
Stampin’ UP! always talks about CASEing which means Copy and Share Everything. As demos, we search Pinterest, Google, YouTubeand Facebook for new fun ideas to try out. The OnStage events offer a perfect time to trade ideas with people all over the area. I created the above birthday card for this event using the Gorgeous Grunge and Garden in Bloom Stamp sets.
Below is a gallery of some of the swaps that I traded for at OnStage Baltimore. Thanks to the ladies for the time it took to make your wonderful creations. Please feel free to leave a comment, feedback is always appreciated.
Stay tuned for more great news and pictures from OnStage!
This little nutcracker card was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketches #294 and the color palette from the Season of Cheer DSP pack in the annual catalog. I put the mat and nutcracker decoration on a 6 inch x 12 inch card base, scored at 6 inches. I used the Sparkly Seasons stamp set for the little nutcracker. I hope you enjoy my entry!
Feel free to leave me a comment! I enjoy your feedback.
Coloring and the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set go together perfectly! Just add a dash of glitter to make a beautiful card for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
To make the card, start with a pumpkin pie card base of 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″. Cut a piece of very vanilla cardstock to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and rough the edges up with a sanding block or edge distresser tool. Stamp all the leave images from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set on to the very vanilla cardstock using early espresso ink. Color the leaves in fun patterns using the Stampin’ UP! markers in real red, pumpkin pie, early espresso and garden green.
Attach the very vanilla layer to the card front using snail adhesive. On a scrap of very vanilla, stamp the Thankful greeting from the Six Sayings stamp set in Versamark ink. Sprinkle heat and stick powder on the versa mark image and melt with your heat gun. Sprinkle the gold glitter over the melted sentiment and heat set again. Fussy cut the thankful sentiment out with paper snips and adhere to card with dimensionals. Using the fine tip glue pen, make small dots of glue randomly around card front and sprinkle with gold glitter.
For the inside of the card, cut a piece of very vanilla to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the Emily Bronte quote from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set in early espresso ink. Stamp the small tree image in the lower corner using early espresso ink and color with the Stampin’ UP! marker colors used on the front of the card. Adhere to the inside of the card with snail adhesive.
Hope you enjoy making the card! Thanks for visiting today.
