Hey everyone! I decided to try out Fab Friday Challenge #76. Here is the sketch used to make my card. It was a lot of fun designing the card and finally figuring out what to do with the black snowflake paper from the Winter Wonderland DSP pack.
To make the card, start with a basic black card base of 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″. Cut a piece of Winter Wonderland snowflake DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Adhere it to the front of the card with snail adhesive.
Cut a strip of the white and gold Winter Wonderland paper to 1 1/2″ x 5″. With the banner triple punch finish both ends.
Stamp the snowman image from the Sparkly Seasons stamp set on to whisper white cardstock and color with real red, garden green and pumpkin pie markers.
Next, stamp the falling snow image from the Sparkly Seasons stamp set in versa mark ink above the snowman. Sprinkle with heat and stick powder and melt with heat gun. Sprinkle with dazzling diamonds glitter and heat set again. Punch the image out with the 2 1/2″ circle punch. Adhere the snowman to the banner.
Add some snail to the back of the snowman and banner. Using approximately 24″ of gold cording trim, wrap it the circles around the snowman on the back. Affix dimensionals over the cord to hold it in place. Adhere to the front of the card.
Add dazzling details from the squeeze bottle to the snowbank and hat. Adhere five pearls to the front of the card as shown.
For the inside, cut a piece of whisper white card stock to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Attach a strip of the snowflake DSP to the bottom. Stamp with a sentiment in black ink and attach to the inside of the card.

This silver framed wedding card is easy to make. Start with a base card with the dimensions of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. The next layer is a piece of the Timeless Elegance DSP cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Cut a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip of the opposite side of the paper. Adhere a 6″ piece of Very Vanilla 5/8″ Satin Ribbon to the strip wrapping the ends to the back of the strip. Adhere the strip to the flower layer about 1/3 of the way down.
Using the largest Deco Labels Collection Framelits Die, cut a piece of Silver Foil and emboss using the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Stamp the congratulations from the Happy Notes Stamp set in black ink and cut it out on the Big Shot using the Ovals Collection Framelits Die. Adhere the oval to the silver foil using dimensionals. Add dimensionals to the back of the silver foil piece and attach to card front.

This jolly Santa takes me back to when I was a kid. I love the bold real red color contrasting with the pool party background. If you buy anything out of the holiday catalog, it should be this Home for Christmas DSP pack. The whole pack of paper includes art by Stampin’ UP! that is just fun and versatile. The images are spaced far enough apart to allow for punching them out.
The first step to making this card is to cut a base of pool party cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Emboss the front of the card using the Boughs and Berries Embossing Folder. Next cut a frame out of the gold foil sheet using the Lots of Labels framelits die on your big shot. Cut the cottage picture DSP from the Home for Christmas DSP using the larger die and adhere it to the cardbase. Attach the gold frame on top to the cottages with dimensionals.
Punch out a Santa image with the Note Tag Punch and attach him to the bottom right of the frame. Add a snowflake element to the tag with a glue dot.
Next stamp the Jolly sentiment from the Oh, What Fun stamp set in real red on whisper white cardstock. Punch out the sentiment with the Washi Label Punch. Attach this to the top left of the gold frame. Tie a bow with the real red striped ribbon and adhere to the card with a glue dot.
To finish the inside of the card, cut a piece to whisper white cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Stamp the Happy Christmas sentiment in real red near the top and glue a strip of the cottage paper to the bottom. Adhere the layers to the inside of the card.

The Antique Tag stamp set is perfect for quick and easy Christmas cards and tags. With a dash of a little heat embossing on the Noel sentiment, this is a card that is sure to please the recipient! It is quick and easy to put together as well.
The sentiment on the inside of the card comes from the Lots of Joy stamp set and is frames out with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch which adds a cute detail to the inside of the card.
Starting with a pool party base card measuring 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score it in half. Cut a piece of the ornament paper from the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper at the dimensions of 4″ x 5 1/4″. Cut a piece of the same paper to the dimensions of 2″ x 5 1/4″. Flip it to the striped side and attach to the ornament paper as shown. Wrap a 6 1/2″ piece of the Mossy Meadow 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon around the ornament paper about 1/3 of the way down the DSP smoothing it out so it lies flat. Adhere this to the card base.
Punch out a flower medallion from real red card stock. Punch out a scallop from mossy meadow card stock. Stamp the Noel sentiment in versamark ink on the very vanilla card stock and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Punch the Noel out with the Label Bracket punch. Layer the 3 items together as shown in the picture. Adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, cut a piece of very vanilla card stock in the dimensions of 5 1/4″ x 4″. Punch the corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. Stamp the Merry & Bright sentiment in real red ink and adhere to the inside of the card.
To make the tag, assemble another Noel medallion just like the card above. Cut a piece of very vanilla card stock to 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. Punch the top of the strip with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Using the striped side of the ornament paper, cut a piece that measures 1″ x 2 1/2″ and glue just under the hole at the top of the tag. Cut another strip of the same paper measuring 2″ x 3″ and glue just under the striped card stock piece. Trim to edge of the tag. Affix the medallion to the front of the tag. Loop a 4″ piece of the Mossy Meadow Cotton ribbon through the tag hole. Finish with a gold bow tied around the mossy meadow ribbon. I hope you enjoy making this Noel card and tag set. These Winter Wonderland cards come together really quickly. They are an elegant way to send greetings to your family and friends this holiday season. The larger card size of 6″ x 6″ really showcases the beautiful Winter Wonderland DSP and matching vellum stack.
It is easy to add a matching envelope to the ensemble with the envelope punch board and the gorgeous striped vellum.
To start of the project, cut a piece of 12″ x 12″ whisper white cardstock in half and score at 6″. Emboss the cardstock with the Softly Falling folder. Cut out two 3″ x 4″ pieces of DSP and one 3″ x 4″ piece of whisper white. Cut a piece of the snowy looking vellum from the Winter Wonderland DSP vellum stack into a 3″ x 6″ piece. Stamp the tree image from the Winter Wonderland stamp set on the whisper white piece using black archival ink. Stamp over the same image again using Versamark ink. Sprinkle with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat emboss the image.
To create the left card, attach the two pieces of DSP in a fan fashion and adhere to the vellum piece. Wrap a piece of the gold glitter ribbon around the vellum and tie a knot in the front. Adhere the entire piece to the main card base.
To create the right card, cut the two pieces of Winter Wonderland DSP in half. Arrange them in the manner shown in photo, except pop the tree image up on dimensionals. Loop the gold glitter ribbon under the tree image and attach behind the cardstock. Attach to the vellum piece. Adhere everything to the front of the card.
Cut two snow words from the Seasonal Frames Thinlits, one in whisper white and the other from the gold tree paper. Attach to the card front . Stamp the Happy Christmas sentiment inside the card using the Oh, What Fun stamp set.
Now here is a tree that you can embellish any way you want! I chose to use flowers but sequins, stars, colored pearls, or just about anything shiny and bright would work. I hope that you will try this technique out.
After running the Striped Scallop Thinlits die through the big shot with the precision base plate, I trimmed it down into the shape of a Christmas tree. The precision base plate makes it so much easier to pop this diecut out. I have included a link to the Stampin’ UP! video on how to use the plate properly. The fine tip glue pen makes it easy to attach the tree to the cardstock base.
To make the pot, insert glimmer paper cardstock halfway into the hexagon punch. Punch a star with the same gold glimmer paper. To make the flower ornaments, punch several out of the dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and top them off with Home For Christmas enamel dots. Glue the tree to a base of real red cardstock embossed with the Spring Flowers folder. Glue the ornaments on the tree.
Stamp the Merry Wishes sentiment on whisper white cardstock and attach to the center of the tree with dimensionals. Top it off with a cute bow of real red striped ribbon and attach everything to a base of whisper white cardstock. Let me know what you think of this cute little Christmas tree in the comments.
