Snow falling always creates a feeling of peace and serenity. The Softly Falling Textured Embossing folder and the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set were used on this gate fold card to make the recipient feel that way. Stampin’ UP! created a winner with the Flurry of Wishes bundle in the holiday catalog. The stamps are created to line up perfectly with the punch making it super quick and easy to create a card. I used the following color palette.

On a card base of Pacific Point, folded gate card style, adhere two pieces of the Very Vanilla embossed with the Softly Falling folder to the front of the card using snail adhesive. Stamp two sets of the small snowflakes using the Pacific Point ink on very vanilla cardstock. Color the snowflakes using the tempting turquoise and Bermuda Bay pens. I alternated the two sets outlining one in the first color and then coloring in with the second color. Punch them out with the Flurry of Wishes punch.

Stamp the greeting in pacific point in on very vanilla cardstock. Cut it out with the Tags and Labels framelit die. Using the one size larger die, cut a pacific point frame out and adhere it to the greeting. Cut a gold metallic doily in half and adhere it to the back of the greeting.

Cut a banner out of the striped ribbon about 5 inches long. Attach it to the left edge of the card. Pop the greeting up on dimensionals on top of the ribbon. Attach a small snowflake to the greeting with a dimensional and tie a bow out of the gold ribbon. Attach the bow with a glue dot. Attach all the remaining snowflake to the right side of the card with dimensionals. Finish them off with gold sequins in the middle of each snowflake. To finish the inside of the card, add a piece of very vanilla cardstock stamped with a greeting. I also embellished with some more colored snowflakes.
